Wentzel earned Championship MVP honors and was a key part to the Crusaders' run to the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Title.  She scored five goals in three games including the game-winner in the 3-2, semifinal win over #4 Kean, then scored the only goal of the game with less than two minutes to play in the Championship Final win over #2 Stevens.  Wentzel's 21 goals this season tie the most ever by a freshman at Alvernia (Megan Novogratz, 2003).
