Gaston became the first Alvernia Women’s Cross Country athlete to earn a spot in the NCAA Division III National Championship. As a top-ten finisher not on a qualifying team, Caston punched her ticket to Lansing, Michigan. Gaston ran the 6K course in a time of 22:12.8 to lead the Golden Wolves to an 18th place finish. Gaston’s top-35 performance also earned her all-region honors.
