Mauro Pellot-Vazquez recorded three falls en route to a first place finish at 197 lbs at the 2024 MAC Wrestling Championship. After a first round bye, Pellot-Vazquez took down Hofler (York) by fall in 2:00 in the quarterfinals and Dereszynski (Messiah) by fall in 3:33 in the semifinals. Pellot-Vazquez then recorded his third pin of the day after pinning Wagner (Del Val) in just 1:42 to secure the 197 lbs. title.
