Shinelle Felix podiumed in three events at the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship and set a new championship record. Felix took second in the long jump with a season-best mark of 5.41m on Friday. Felix then set a new MAC Championship record in the triple jump on Saturday with a mark of 12.22m to take first in the event. Felix capped off her championship showing with an eighth place finish in the shot put with a mark of 10.46m
