Chris Sasso got the start on the mound on Friday to kickoff a weekend series against Eastern. Sasso went eight innings in the start without giving up a run. He struck out nine batters and allowed just three hits through his eight innings of work. Sasso has now struckout nine batters in each of his last two starts.
