Katie Lapinsky took low medalist honors and led Alvernia to a first place finish at the Catholic University Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. Lapinsky fired an 8-over 80 on Saturday and followed that with a 5-over 77 on Sunday to secure low medalist honors. She combined for 26 pars between both days and won the event by three strokes with a two-day total of 157. Alvernia took the team title by 12 strokes to win in their first appearance of the spring following two cancelations due to weather earlier in the week.
