Keito Shaw took first place at 125 lbs at the Region 3 Championship over the weekend, earning his spot in the DIII National Championship later this month. After starting the tournament with a technical fall and major decision to progress into the semifinals on Saturday, Shaw won his semifinal match with a pin over McDaniel’s Alex Dufour. He then punched his ticket to the national championship with a 4-3 decision over TCNJ’s Matt Griffin.
