Radnor, Pa. (Nov. 2, 2013) - Cabrini College (9-7) scored two second-half goals in a 2-1 win over Alvernia University (11-7) Saturday afternoon in non-conference field hockey action at Cabrini.

The Crusaders opened the scoring in the final seconds of the first half with Alexis Klopp (Bernville, Pa./Tulpehocken) scored on a corner play.

Cabrini leveled the score four minutes into the second half then scored the game-winner two minutes later.

Alvernia junior Erin Wunsch (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) made five saves and Klopp recorded her fifth defensive save of the season.

The Crusaders will await a possible ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships bid which will be announced a week from Monday.
