Reading, Pa. (Nov. 15, 2014) - #3 Misericordia University (14-6-2) scored with a little over a minute left in overtime to capture a 1-0 victory over #7 Widener University (11-7-1) Saturday afternoon in ECAC semifinal play at Alvernia.

In the 98th minute, Derek Antonini netted the only goal of the day. Off a pass from Chris Panagacos, Antonini beat his defender and found the left side of the net from far right to score his fifth goal of the season.

Misericordia outshot the Pride 17-6 with eight corners. The Cougars allowed just one overtime shot for the Pride, posting eight of their own.

Widener goalie Dave Sousa collected eight saves, while Misericordia keeper Barry Fitzgerald had three.

Misericordia advances to face #1 Penn State-Harrisburg Sunday in the ECAC South championship game at Alvernia at 12:00 pm.
