Elizabethtown, Pa (Oct. 29, 2016) - Alvernia University (9-18) fell 3-1 to Elizabethtown College (7-22) Saturday afternoon in non-conference women's volleyball action at Elizabethtown.

Alvernia started the day by dominating the first match to claim a 1-0 lead over the Bluejays by a score of 25-10. Elizabethtown rallied back to win the next two sets 25-17 and 25-16. Up 2-1, the Bluejays closed out the match by taking the fourth set 25-23.

Alvernia was lead by Junior Kristen Sipling with 14 kills on the day.

Today's matchup wrapped up the Crusaders 2016 season.
