Reading, Pa. (Nov. 1, 2016) - Alvernia University enters the MAC Commonwealth Field Hockey Championships as the #2 seed and will host #3 Arcadia in a semifinal game on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

The Crusaders--ranked 16th in the nation--match their highest seeding in the championships and will host a conference postseason game for the fourth time since joining the MAC in 2008.
 

Ticket Prices $5 - Adult $4 - Senior Citizens $2 - Students & Children FREE - Under 6

Tickets will be required for Wednesday's semifinal and sold at the gates.  The Alvernia Department of Athletics & Recreation will cover the cost for all University students, faculty, and staff with a valid ID.

7:00 p.m. - #4 Lebanon Valley @ #1 Messiah
5:00 p.m. - #3 Arcadia @ #2 Alvernia

Saturday Final
TBA - Winners @ Highest remaining seed

The winner of the MAC Commonwealth will receive the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Championships.  That field will be announced on Sunday with first round games next Wednesday.
