Franklin & Marshall Takes 63-50 Win Over Alvernia

BOX SCORE Lancaster, Pa. (Nov. 16, 2018) - Franklin and Marshall (2-0) went on an 11-0 run over a seven minute span on its way to a 63-50 win over Alvernia University (2-1) in the first game of the William Marshall Tip-Off Tournament, hosted by Franklin and Marshall.

Alvernia opened the scoring with the first four points of the game before the Diplomats tied it up at 4-4. The Golden Wolves and Diplomats would go on to trade the lead before Alvernia's shooting went cold.

Keon Taylor put an end to drought with a layup with 16:39 remaining in the game.

The Golden Wolves got within five with about 12 minutes to play, but the Diplomats pulled away in the final ten minutes.
