Reading, Pa. (Mar. 29, 2018) - Stevenson University (3-6, 1-0) scored 12 goals in the first half on the way to a 14-2 win over Alvernia University (0-8, 0-1) Thursday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's lacrosse action at Alvernia.

The Mustangs scored the first 12 goals of the game with the Golden Wolves finally getting on the board when Rachel Judge scored with a minute left in the first half.

Stevenson scored the first two goals of the second half for a 14-1 lead and Brittany Defibaugh's goal with just under six minutes left was the final goal of the game.

Alvernia split time between all three goalies who combined to make 12 saves.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule at Lycoming next Wednesday.
