Owings Mill, Md. (Apr. 11, 2018) - Top-seeded Stevenson University (20-8) jumped out to a 25-12 win in the opening set on its way to a 3-0 win over #4 Alvernia University (12-16) Wednesday evening in semifinal action of the MAC Men's Volleyball Championships hosted by Stevenson.

The Mustangs advance to the first ever MAC Championship Final for Men's Volleyball and will host #3 Arcadia University on Saturday.  The Knights advanced with a 3-1 win at #2 Messiah College.

Collin Welteroth and Spencer Matthews had seven kills apiece to lead Alvernia. Jason Gardner had 10 kills for Stevenson.
