Williamsport, Pa. (Apr. 21, 2018) - Lycoming College (9-7, 3-3) defeated Alvernia University (1-10, 0-5) in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action Saturday afternoon at Lycoming.

The Warriors took two of three doubles matches to jump out to a 2-1 lead.  

Alvernia senior Cassandra Noray and junior Amanda Phillips won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles and freshman Leah Kemper won in straight sets at No. 4 singles.

Alvernia continues the season Tuesday hosting crosstown rival Albright College.
