Grantham, Pa. (Apr. 28, 2018) - Senior Cassandra Noray won her career-leading 50th singles match, but Alvernia University (2-11) dropped a 7-2 decision at Messiah College (10-5) Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action.
Noray, who became the career leader in singles wins earlier this season, won her 50th match with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Kelly Hopkins at No. 1.
Amanda Phillips picked up a 3-set win at No. 2 singles, but the Falcons took the final four singles matches in straight sets.
Saturday's match concludes the 2017-18 season for Alvernia.
