Allentown, Pa. (Sept. 8, 2018) - Moravian College (2-1-1) scored three second half goals in a 4-0 win over Alvernia University (0-3) Saturday afternoon in non-conference women's soccer action at Moravian.
The Greyhounds scored a goal in the 21st minute for a 1-0 lead and held the same advantage at the halftime break.
Taylor Gough and
Hailey Myers had chances with under 15 minutes left in the first half, but Gough's shot was saved and Myers was off the mark.
Seven minutes into the second half Moravian netted the insurance goal then added two more later in the half.
Lily Sankey made seven saves in net for the Golden Wolves.
Alvernia turns right around to face Dickinson College at home on Sunday.
