Reading, Pa. (Oct. 1, 2019) - Muhlenberg College (5-3-1) scored five goals in the first half and held Alvernia University (3-7) scoreless the entire way en route to a 5-0 win over the Golden Wolves on Tuesday evening at Alvernia.

The Muhls opened the scoring in the tenth minute with a goal from Emily DeAngelo that snuck just inside the left post. 

The Muhls would then add three goals in a just over a two minute span to go up 4-0. 

Muhlenberg capped off its first half scoring spree with a goal in the 40th minute from Danielle Strashinsky.

Alvernia was held to just five shots, only three of which were on goal.

Lily Sankey and Riley Scepansky split time in goal, picking up four saves each.
