Alvernia Sweeps Neumann, 3-0

Reading, Pa. (Feb. 15, 2020) - Alvernia University (8-4) defeated Neumann University (3-8) by a 3-0 final in match two of the Alvernia Quad Match Saturday morning at Jack McCloskey Court.

Anthony Dadson led the way for the Golden Wolves with nine kills and Caleb Whitehead added eight.  Mike Monczewski had 35 assists and Whitehead had a match-high 13 digs.

Alvernia opened the match with a 25-4 win in the first set.  Monczewski served 15 straight times as the Wolves opened up a 15-0 lead.

Alvernia won the second set 25-17 and closed out the match with a 25-10 win in the third.
