Avery Leonard then gave Alvernia another three points with an 8-5 decision at 141 lbs to make it an 11-0 match in favor of the Golden Wolves.

The Falcons got their first and only points of the match with Messiah's Noah Rice recording a takedown in overtime to edge Chance Babb in a 4-2 decision.

Robert Lawlor then recorded Alvernia's third major decision of the night, securing a 12-1 major decision at 157 lbs to put Alvernia up 15-3.

Gavin Hollingsworth followed Lackman with an 11-6 decision at 174 lbs to make it a 23-3 match, and Isaac Kassis edged out a 3-1 decision in overtime to make it a 26-3 match with two bouts to go.

In the penultimate bout, Mauro Pellot-Vazquez escaped a couple of near pins by Messiah's Joe Embleton to come away with a 9-4 decision in favor of Alvernia with one bout to go.
