A Mason Wang layup made it a seven point game, 26-19, with 9:46 to play.

The Golden Wolves then flipped it and went on a 15-5 run of their own that was capped off by a Green 3-pointer with 6:09 to play to make it a six point game, 75-69.
Alvernia would not get any closer than six until the final 30 seconds when Jacob Stoudt made a free throw to bring Alvernia within five, 83-78. But, Alvernia was forced to foul the Blazers and Hood converted its final four free throw attempts as the Blazers came away with the 87-78 win.

With the win, the Blazers became co-MAC Commonwealth regular season champions with Eastern University. Alvernia will host #6 Widener at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 23rd. The winner of that game will face the winner of #7 Albright vs. #2 Hood on Friday.
