Dutchmen Down Golden Wolves, 5-3

Hershey, Pa. (November 21, 2025) - Lebanon Valley College (2-5, 2-3) netted two goals in the second and third periods en route to a 5-3 victory over Alvernia University (5-2, 3-2) Friday night in a MAC men's ice hockey clash at the Hersheypark Arena. 

Alvernia held a 2-1 lead after the first 20 minutes of hockey but then the Dutchmen out scored the Golden Wolves 4-1 in the final 40 minutes of hockey to secure the 5-3 victory. 

How it Happened 
  • Alvernia got things going in the first five minutes of the contest when Keegan Driscoll put the puck into the back of the net after assists from Gabriel Flammia and Lucas Ochitwa put the Golden Wolves up 1-0 early on. 
  • Lebanon Valley's Cody Walker leveled the score at one in the tenth minute of action. 
  • The Golden Wolves answered four minutes later after Matthew Henry and Sawyer Senio connected with Anthony Piccininno to give Alvernia a 2-1 advantage heading into the first intermission. 
  • The Dutchmen netted both goals in the second period and swung the lead in their favor, 3-2 thanks to goals from Max Kontir and Cade Helmer. 
  • LVC pushed the lead to two, 4-2, eight minutes into the third period thanks to an Owen Armes goal. 
  • The Golden Wolves responded with a goal six minutes later to pull within one after Frazer Dodd found the back of the net after assists from Henry and Senio to make it a 4-3 game. 
  • The Dutchmen sealed the deal with a goal in the final three minutes of play to secure the 5-3 victory over the Golden Wolves.
