The first half was closely contested, with Notre Dame beginning to pull away late in the half to take a 45-38 lead into the break. Alvernia closed back within four with 16:30 to play in the second half. Notre Dame then went off on a 30-15 run over the next eight minutes to separate from the Golden Wolves. The Gators kept it rolling the rest of the way for the 113-90 win.

  • A pair of layups from Mason Jones and Kareem Diaz brought Alvernia back within four, 51-47, through the first three and a half minutes of the second half. But, the Gators began to push the past and outscored Alvernia 30-15 over the next eight minutes to take an 81-62 lead with nine minutes to play in the game.
