The Golden Wolves punched their ticket to the MAC Commonwealth Championships for just the second time since Alvernia joined the Commonwealth and the first time since the 2017 season. The victory also is Alvernia's fourth conference win, which ties the single season record for conference wins.

The Golden Wolves took down the Blazers 25-23 in the first set before posting a 25-16 victory in the second set to take a 2-0 lead. Alvernia then capped the sweep with a 25-21 set three win to take the match.

  • The Golden Wolves were the ones that started the second set hot and after trading points with the Blazers at the start of the set, Alvernia ripped off a 9-4 scoring run that forced a Hood timeout with the Golden Wolves up 14-9.
  • Alvernia then controlled the end of the second set and recorded an 11-7 scoring run in the final 18 points of the set to take a 2-0 match lead over the Blazers after a 25-16 victory in the second set.
