Manheim, Pa. (March 24, 2026) - Alvernia University Men's Wrestling had six student-athletes earn NWCA Scholar All-American honors for their performances in the classroom and on the mat as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. 

Chance Babb, Hayden McLellan, Owen Reber, Aiden Swann, Luke Thomas and Quinn Tobin were the Golden Wolves honored for their performances in the classroom. 

For men's wrestlers to earn Scholar All-American honors, they must have placed in the top eight at their respective regional tournament, or wrestle in at least 15 matches with a win percentage greater than 66%. All recipients must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA, or 3.20 average over the last two semesters. 

A total of 473 student-athletes representing 105 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
