Reading, Pa. (April 10, 2026) - Alvernia University (1-8, 0-3) dropped a MAC Commonwealth men's tennis matchup to Stevenson University (3-5, 1-0), 7-0, Friday afternoon down in Angelica Park. 

The #1 doubles pairing of Troy O'Malley and Luke Brisbois fell to Luke Appleman and Brandon Nguyen, 6-4. Lucas Montello and Duncan McDowell dropped the #2 doubles match to King Nacua and Nicholas Valis, 6-3, to give the Mustangs the doubles point. 

The Mustangs secured the doubles sweep with a 6-2 victory in the #3 match over Andrew Kao and Jordan Bosco. 

Montello dropped the #1 singles match, 6-0, 6-1, and Brisbois fell in the #2 singles match, 6-2, 6-2. 

O'Malley competed in the #3 singles match but dropped the match to Nguyen, 6-1, 6-0, and Andrew Kao fell in the #4 match, 6-0, 6-2. 

McDowell dropped the #5 singles match, 6-1, 6-1, and Bosco fell in the #6 singles match, 6-0, 6-0. 

The Golden Wolves are back in action on Wednesday when they head to Eastern for a MAC Commonwealth match with the Eagles.
