Newville, Pa. (September 12) – The Alvernia University women's cross country team placed eighth in the women's 4K at Saturday morning's event. Paige Jerrahian led the Golden Wolves, earning the team's top finish on the day.

Jerrahian paced Alvernia with a time of 17:18.3, crossing the finish line in 34th place.

Sarina Neiswender followed shortly behind, finishing 39th in 17:48.3, just 30 seconds after her teammate.

Lauren Del Vacchio completed the course in 19:22.5, while Cassidy McClune recorded a time of 20:26.7.

Breanna Hayes rounded out the Golden Wolves' lineup with a time of 23:41.1.
