Hershey, Pa. (September 8, 2026) — Alvernia Women's Golf traveled to the sweetest place on earth Tuesday and placed third in the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational, held at Hershey Country Club on the Par 71 East Course.

As a whole, the team, consisting of Cassidy Miksich, Ayvah Rossi, Madison Potter, and Gia Rainey, shot a 396 to find themselves placed on the podium at third.

Cassidy Miksich led the way for the Golden Wolves and finished tied for fourth in the field of 23 with 12 over par. Miksich went into the back nine six over and caught fire on a back nine that included a birdie and four pars.

Ayvah Rossi came just behind Miksich at 20 over and found herself tied for ninth in the event. Rossi's round was highlighted by five pars and a birdie. After securing a birdie and a par on the final two holes going into the turn, Rossi fired three pars on the back nine to finish at a 43 on the front and 48 on the back.

Madison Potter and Gia Rainey also placed for the Golden Wolves today, shooting a 108 and 114, respectively, and securing a team third-place finish.
