Biography
2023-2024 (Senior)
Summerson played in all 13 matches for the Golden Wolves during her senior campaign and finished with a 6-7 record playing as the #3 singles player for Alvernia. Summerson recorded wins against PSU Berks and DeSales in the fall and recorded a 4-3 singles record in the spring including winning four of her first five matches in the spring season. Summerson also played in the #1 doubles matches with teammate Leah Bouchard and finished with a 7-6 record. The pairing of Bouchard and Summerson recorded a 4-3 conference record and recorded wins over Albright in the MAC Commonwealth playoffs, Messiah, Eastern and Hood. Summerson finished her career with a career 32-20 singles record and a 31-23 record in doubles matches. Summerson also helped lead the Golden Wolves to the MAC playoff appearances in all four years at Alvernia.
2022-2023 (Junior)
Summerson played in 16 matches for a Golden Wolves team that posted a 10-6 overall record. Summerson tallied a 9-6 record playing in the #2 and #4 singles spots and a 10-6 record in the #1 doubles spot with teammate Leah Bouchard. Summerson got off to a hot start in the fall season, winning all five of her singles matches, she then posted a win in the first match of the spring and finished the season with a 4-6 record. In doubles play, Summerson and Bouchard got off to a blistering start, tallying wins in seven of their first ten matches of the season. The duo then cooled off, but still tallied a 3-3 record in their final six matches, finishing with the most doubles wins on the team.
2021-2022 (Sophomore)
Summerson played in all 16 matches for Alvernia during her sophomore campaign and posted an 11-4 record in singles, including a 5-2 record in the MAC Commonwealth, and a 12-4 record in doubles. Summerson played in the #4 singles spot where she recorded wins in all three matches during the fall season and tallied eight wins in her first ten matches. Summerson then won four of her final five matches, tallying four wins in a row during that stretch. Summerson played in the #2 doubles spot in the fall season with teammate Laura Covely and they recorded wins in two of the three matches in the fall. Summerson then moved to the #1 doubles spot with teammate Leah Bouchard where the duo won four of the first five matches they played together. They then went on to post a 6-2 record in the final eight matches to finish with a 11-3 record in doubles play.
2020-21 (First-Year)
Finished the season with a 5-4 singles record and a 2-7 doubles record in Spring 2021… recorded a singles win in the MAC Commonwealth Championship quarterfinal matchup versus Hood (May 5).
