Gaston competed in seven meets for the Golden Wolves during the 2023 outdoor season and broke the Alvernia school record in the 10,000m, 5,000m and the 3,000m. Gaston set the school record in the 5,000m twice throughout the season, first at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic with a time of 18:05.78, she then broke her own record at the MAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 17:59.67, which was also a career best time for Gaston and earned her second team All-MAC honors with a second place finish. Gaston set the 10,000m school record at the Widener Invite with a time of 38:54.22 and then broke her own record at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships with a career best 37:18.63 time and a third place finish, earning her All-Region honors. Gaston broke her third Alvernia record in the 3,000m at the Paul Kaiser Classic with a career best 10:50.91 time in the 3,000m. Gaston also posted a career best 800m time at the Paul Kaiser Classic with a time of 2:21.06.
