Biography

2014-15: Named Alvernia's female Athlete of the week on numerous accounts including (12/8), (1/19), (1/26), (2/2), (2/9), (3/9) and (3/16). She was also named the Commonwealth Conference player of the week (3/3). Heather was the ECAC South Athlete of the Week (3/4).

2013-2014: Heather won the 200m for second straight week, stacked with Division II runners, in a time of 26.91. She also established a sizeable lead in heat-winner (3rd overall) 4x200m relay. Named Alvernia Athlete of the Week (Jan. 27). Came in 1st again in the 200m dash with a time of 26.7 at the Ursinus College Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 8). In the 200m, Wanner held off a quickly closing Jasmine Mitchell of Susquehanna to win in an Alvernia best 26.61. Wanner also set a new record time in the 60m, finishing in 8.02 (Feb. 14). Was once again strong in her two usual races, lowering her school records in both the 60m and the 200m at the Susquehanna Invite. She finished 2nd in the 60m and won the 200m. Named Alvernia Athlete of the Week (Feb. 17). She is currently ranked third in the MAC for the 60m and sixth in the MAC for the 200m. In both events she is the highest ranked freshman at the MAC Championships (Feb. 28). Was one of two freshmen to qualify for the 60m dash final at the MAC Championships. She completed the dash in 8.04, placing fifth. Wanner also finished fifth in the 200m with a time of 26.73 (Mar. 1). High School Sports: Cheerleading and Track and Field
