  • Two-Time Alvernia Player of the Week (Oct. 14 and Oct. 21) 
Appeared in all ten games for Alvernia as a dual threat quarterback for the Golden Wolves. Sample threw for 1,041 yards on 89 completions. He connected with Alvernia's receiving corps for ten touchdowns. Sample was also Alvernia's second leading rusher, netting 637 yards and adding seven more touchdowns. Sample threw for a season-high 225 yards against FDU-Florham in the final game of the season, and rushed for a season-high 147 yards against Wilkes. In Alvernia's first MAC win against Lycoming, Sample combined for 300 yards in the air and on the ground.
