Finished his freshman season with an overall record of 7-18. Picked up his first decision in the opening round of the MAC Championship, defeating Lycoming's Darren Rich, 4-2. Picked up his only major decision in the second round of the Southeast Regionals against Johns Hopkins Hanting Wong, 11-0.
