Biography

2024 (Junior) 
  • MAC Academic Honor Roll
DeGroodt appeared in 11 games for Alvernia during his junior year and made one start on the mound which came against Arcadia. DeGroodt recorded 10.1 innings pitched, struckout eight batters, allowed 18 hits and issued just three walks and recorded one assist in the field on his only chance. DeGroodt was also a member of a team that won the 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championship and made a NCAA Regional appearance. 

2023 (Sophomore) 
  • MAC Academic Honor Roll
DeGroodt made six appearances for the Golden Wolves during the 2023 season and tallied one win, which came against Rutgers-Camden. DeGroodt tallied two strikeouts over 4.2 innings pitched and was a member of a team that finished runner up in the MAC Commonwealth Championship and the ECAC Championship.
