Sasso appeared in 14 games on the hill for the Golden Wolves during his sophomore campaign and started in 11 of those games. Sasso recorded a 6-4 overall record in 2024, he tossed the second most innings on the team with 64.2, he posted a 3.76 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. Sasso allowed 55 hits, gave up 27 earned runs, fanned a career high 57 batters and held opposing batters to a .227 batting average. In the MAC Commonwealth, Sasso ranked top five in opposing batting average (3rd), innings pitched (5th), strikeouts (4th), and wins (5th). Sasso’s best outing of the season came in a victory over Eastern where he tossed eight shutout innings, fanned a season high nine batters, allowed just three hits and two walks. Sasso went six or more innings in victories over Albright, Eastern, Stevenson, Widener, Hood and Messiah. In the field, Sasso recorded one putout and three assists on six chances and picked one runner off. Sasso also helped lead the Golden Wolves to the 2024 MAC Commonwealth title and a NCAA Regional appearance at the Cleveland Regional hosted by Case Western Reserve.

Sasso appeared in 11 games on the mound for Alvernia, he started in all 11 games and posted a 3-3 record. Sasso recorded a 4.63 ERA, allowing 27 runs over 44.2 innings pitched, he tallied 38 strikeouts, walked just 16 batters and allowed 47 hits. Sasso tallied a season high 12 strikeouts in a victory over New Jersey City where he tossed six scoreless innings, issued only one walk and allowed only two hits. Sasso’s 12 strikeouts was the most by an Alvernia pitcher since John Catchmark fanned 14 in a game against Stevenson during the 2017 season. In the field, Sasso tallied three assists on three chances and was also a member of a team that finished runner up in the MAC Commonwealth and ECAC Championships.
