Biography

2024 (Junior)

Thomas played in 31 games for Alvernia during the 2024 campaign and made 14 starts. Thomas posted a .299 batting average, totalling 20 hits, two doubles, one triple, eight runs scored and eight RBIs. Thomas also worked five walks, was hit by four pitches and recorded a .382 on base percentage and a .740 on base plus slugging percentage. Thomas tallied five multi-hit games with two hits against Stevenson, twice against Hood and against Case Western in the NCAA Regional and also posted a three hit, three RBI performance in a victory over TCNJ. Thomas also appeared in five games on the hill for the Golden Wolves and made relief appearances against Hiram, Baldwin Wallace, Messiah, Albright and Ithaca. Thomas recorded 9.2 innings pitched, allowed just 12 hits, four earned runs, issued just two walks and fanned five batters. In the field, Thomas recorded 36 putouts and two assists on 38 chances, turned one double play and did not commit an error. Thomas also helped lead the Golden Wolves to their fourth MAC Commonwealth title over Messiah and their 19th NCAA Regional appearance. 

2023 (Sophomore)

Thomas appeared in 23 games for the Golden Wolves and started in eight games. Thomas recorded 14 hits on 44 at bats for a .318 average during the 2023 season. Thomas ripped four doubles, drove in seven runs and scored 13 runs, he worked eight walks and was hit by a pitch five times. Thomas stole one base and finished with a .875 on base plus slugging percentage. In the field, Thomas tallied 15 putouts and added four assists on 19 chances for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Thomas also recorded two appearances on the mound for Alvernia, allowing one hit over 1.2 innings pitched and allowed just one walk. 

2022 (First Year)

Thomas played in 13 games and made four starts for Alvernia in his first year. Thomas tallied four hits with one double, he drove in one run and scored two runs. Thomas worked three walks and in the field, he tallied seven putouts and ten assists on 18 chances. On the mound, Thomas posted four appearances, tossed 4.1 total innings, striking out three batters and allowed just seven hits.
