Esannason played in 35 games for the Golden Wolves during his first year and started in 26 games in the outfield. Esannason batted primarily at the top of the Golden Wolves order, he posted a .472 on base percentage with 17 hits, he worked a team high 28 walks and was hit by five pitches. Esannason scored 25 runs, recorded two doubles, drove in four runs and was 6-7 on stolen base opportunities. Esannason posted four multi-hit games with two hits against Arcadia, Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth Championship game and Case Western Reserve in the NCAA Regional. Esannason posted a three hit performance against Hood going 3-3 with 5 runs scored, a double, an RBI and two walks. In the field, Esannason recorded 66 putouts and added two assists on 68 total chances and did not commit an error in the field. Esannason also helped lead the Golden Wolves to their fourth 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championship and their 19th NCAA Regional appearance in 2024.
