Biography

2024 (Sophomore) 

Byard played in eight games for Alvernia during his sophomore year and made starts against Randolph Macon and Hiram. Byard recorded two hits against Stevenson including a two RBI double and a two RBI triple. Byard also scored two runs, worked two walks and stole one base. In the field, Byard recorded four putouts and six assists on 12 chances and helped turn one double play. Byard was also a member of a team that won the 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championship and also made a NCAA Regional appearance.

Byard played in seven games for the Golden Wolves during the 2023 season and made one start which came against Rhode Island College. Byard tallied three hits on seven at bats, he ripped two doubles, drove in five runs and scored one run. Byard worked two walks and posted an on base plus slugging percentage of 1.270. Byard tallied one putout and 11 assists on 12 chances in the field. Byard was also a member of a team that finished runner up in the MAC Commonwealth Championship and the ECAC Championship.
