Biography

2023 (Senior) 
  • Kelly McCloskey Fransciscan Award
Ostrowsky made 25 appearances on the bump in relief for the Golden Wolves and his 25 appearances tied the single season record held by Kevin Becker-Menditto in 2015. Ostrowsky tossed 24 innings on the mound, he allowed just 20 hits, eight runs, struckout 24 batters and posted a 1.88 ERA. Ostrowsky also recorded two saves, he recorded a 1.13 WHIP and held opposing batters to just a .220 batting average. Ostrowsky’s lone win came against Messiah when he came on to throw three innings in relief, allowing just one run and one hit and earned the win. Ostrowsky tallied one putout and three assists in the field and was a member of a team that finished runner up in the MAC Commonwealth Championship and the ECAC Championship. Ostrowsky finished his career with 54 appearances, 18 starts, a career 3.66 ERA allowing 77 runs over 135.1 innings pitched and tallied 96 strikeouts. Ostrowsky was also awarded the Kelly McCloskey Fransciscan Award at the Alvernia Senior Athlete banquet for embodying the core values of the University and of former Women’s Lacrosse coach Kelly McCloskey, demonstrating integrity, commitment, sportsmanship, passion and a positive attitude. 

2022 (Junior) 
  • MAC Academic Honor Roll
Ostrowsky made 15 appearances on the mound during his junior campaign and started in seven of those games, posting a 2-5 record. Ostrowsky tallied 20 strikeouts over 39.1 innings pitched, he walked 16 batters, allowed 31 earned runs and recorded one save, which came against Eastern.

Appeared in ten games for the Golden Wolves…pitched a 2.48 ERA…tallied 42 strikeouts in 58.0 innings pitched…finished the year with a 6-2 record.

2020 (First-Year)

Went 1-0 over four appearances with one start...posted a 1.93 ERA giving up five runs (three earned) over 14.0 innings...had 10 strikeouts and three walks...went 8.0 innings giving up one run in a 10-1 win.
