Named NFHCA First Team All-America. Third Crusader to earn NFHCA All-America honors (Becky Macchione, Erin Solley). Second Crusader to be named First Team (Macchione '06). Named MAC Commonwealth and ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year. Scored a school-record 30 goals and has 73 for her career--three goals behind second place on the career goals list (Megan Novogratz) and 20 behind the career record (Macchione). Tallied a team-high nine assists and set a school record for points with 69.
Started all 22 games and scored a goal in 19 games. Tallied two hat tricks--one in a 5-1 win over Delaware Valley and again in a 7-0 win over Hood. Opened the season with an 11-game goal scoring streakÂ

Named Alvernia's Female Athlete of the Week (10/28) after netting one goal in Alvernia's 5-2 win over Albright and a hat trick in Alvernia's key 4-3 win at LVC...Named Alvernia's Female Athlete of the Week (10/21) after being unstoppable in Alvernia's homecoming win over Hood scoring five times and coming within a goal of the Crusaders' single game scoring record...named Alvernia's Female Athlete of the Week (10/7) after a strong offensive week, scoring at least one goal and an assist in two wins…she scored the game-winner in both games against Juniata she had a pair of not-to-be-denied goals scoring off rebounds. Named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week (Oct. 7). Named to the All-Commonwealth First Team as a forward. She scored twice in a 4-3 win over Drew University, the top seed in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships. She added two more--including the game-winner--in a 3-2 win over fourth-seeded Kean University then scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win over #2 Stevens in the Championship game. She was named the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship MVP. Has tied the career total for goals in ECAC play (Becky Macchione) with five and the freshman mark for goals in a season (Megan Novogratz in 2003).

Klopp and Wentzel are the 16th and 17th All-Region honorees for the Crusaders who now have a string of five straight years with at least one player earning All-Region.
