Simmons played in eight of Alvernia;s ten games during his first year and led the team in rushing yards with 457 on 106 rushing attempts. Simmons tallied four rushing touchdowns in 2024 and found the endzone against Stevenson, FDU-Florham, Widener and Misericordia. Simmons recorded a season high 95 yards on 18 carries in a season finale victory over Misericordia and also recorded an 88 yard performance against Albright on 23 carries. Simmons also caught four passes for 36 yards and recorded 11 kickoff returns for a total of 205 yards with a season high 98 return yards on five returns against Widener.
