Biography

2024 (Senior) 
  • Alvernia Career Tackles for a Loss Record (20.5)
Lazar played in all ten games for the Golden Wolves during his senior campaign and was named a team captain. Lazar recorded 7.5 tackles for a loss for 29 yards and posted a third straight season with 40 or more tackles with 44 tackles in 2024 including 16 solo tackles and 28 assisted tackles. Lazar recorded a tackle in all ten games he played in and tallied a season high nine total tackles in back to back weeks against King’s and Delaware Valley. Lazar also posted a season high three tackles for a loss against Stevenson and also added a sack and five total tackles. Lazar ended his career as a Golden Wolf with 38 games played, 154 total tackles, 76 solo tackles, 78 assisted tackles and three sacks. Lazar also ended with 20.5 career tackles for a loss which broke the career record for tackles for a loss.

2023 (Junior)

Lazar played in all ten games for Alvernia during his junior campaign and finished with 61 total tackles on the year. Lazar recorded 35 assisted tackles and 26 solo tackles in 2023 including a season high ten tackles against Lebanon Valley. Lazar also tallied seven tackles for a loss for 18 total yards, two quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.

2022 (Sophomore) 

Lazar played in all ten games for the Golden Wolves in 2022 and his 52 tackles ranked third in his first season on the defensive side of the ball. Lazar tallied 30 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks on the season. Lazar had one fumble recovery in a victory over Widener, tallied two pass breakups  and recorded one interception against Ursinus. 

2021 (First Year)

Lazar appeared in eight games for Alvernia in his first year. Lazar rushed the ball 46 times for a total of 144 yards, which was third on Alvernia. Lazar also tallied one solo tackle.
