Biography

2024 (Senior)

Carr played in just three games for the Golden Wolves during his senior season after being sidelined due to injury. Carr played in games against Delaware Valley, King’s and Stevenson and tallied seven tackles against Delaware Valley and two against King’s. Carr ended his career as a Golden Wolf with 24 games played, 134 career tackles with 43 solo tackles and 91 assisted tackles and is Alvernia’s single season total tackle record holder with 104 and also the single season assisted tackle leader with 72. Carr also finished with 9.5 tackles for a loss, one sack and one forced fumble.

Carr played in all ten games for the Golden Wolves during the 2023 campaign and tallied a team high 104 total tackles. Carr’s 104 tackles ranked second in the MAC conference and his 72 assisted tackles led the MAC. Carr averaged just over ten tackles per game, he recorded a season high 14 total tackles on two occasions, first against Widener where he tallied five solo and nine assisted tackles and again against Stevenson where he had seven solo and seven assisted tackles. Carr also recorded ten or more total tackles in seven of Alvernia’s ten games and recorded a solo tackle in nine of the ten games he played in. Carr also recorded 7.5 tackles for a loss, which ranked third for the Golden Wolves and had one sack for 11 yards. Carr had tackles for a loss against Ursinus, Eastern, Misericordia, FDU-Florham and King’s and recorded a season high two tackles for a loss against Stevenson. Carr tallied 0.5 sacks against Eastern and King’s, recovered one fumble, which came against Lebanon Valley and recorded quarterback hurries against Widener and Stevenson. Carr’s 104 tackles also sets the new single season tackles record in program history. Carr broke the record in a victory over rivals Albright College when he tallied 12 total tackles to surpass teammate Jamel Fleming’s record of 84 in 2021. 

2022 (Sophomore)

Carr played in nine games for Alvernia during his sophomore season and tallied 20 total tackles. Carr recorded nine solo tackles, 11 assisted tackles and had 0.5 tackles for a loss. 

2021 (First Year)

Carr appeared in two games for the Golden Wolves in the 2021 campaign. Carr finished with one solo tackle on the year.
