Biography

2024 (Senior)

Fleming played in nine of Alvernia’s ten games during his senior campaign and was named a team captain for the 2024 season, making him a three time team captain. Fleming recorded 56 total tackles with 33 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles. Fleming also tallied one interception which came against Albright where he also returned it back for 40 yards. Fleming recorded tackles in all nine games he played in and recorded at least five or more tackles in seven of the nine games. Fleming posted a season high ten tackles against Delaware Valley with six solo tackles and four assisted tackles and also posted seven tackles against Ursinus, Miserciordia and notched seven solo tackles against Widener. Fleming ended his career as a Golden Wolf as a three time team captain, 144 solo tackles, 107 assisted tackles, 251 total tackles and ten tackles for a loss. Fleming also tallied five interceptions, four forced fumbles, 14 pass breakups and one sack. Fleming ranks in the top ten in numerous career categories in the Alvernia record book, his 144 solo tackles, 107 assisted tackles, 251 total tackles  and five interceptions are all the second most in program history and his four career forced fumbles and 14 pass breakups are the most in program history. Fleming was also awarded the Athletic Director’s Award at the Alvernia Senior Athlete ceremony for embodying the mission of Alvernia through his actions on and off the field while also excelling in the classroom and on the field. 

2023 (Junior) 

Fleming played in all ten games for the Golden Wolves during his junior campaign and was named a team captain for the second straight season. Fleming ranked second in total tackles with 72, he led Alvernia in solo tackles with 42 and added 20 assisted tackles, which ranked fourth. Fleming tallied a season high 11 total tackles on three separate occasions, he recorded 11 tackles against Delaware Valley, Lebanon Valley and King’s. Fleming’s 7.5 tackles for a loss was tied for the third most on Alvernia, he had one sack, which came against FDU-Florham and tallied one interception, which came against Eastern. Fleming forced two fumbles, one against Eastern and the second came against Stevenson on Homecoming. Fleming also led the Golden Wolves defense in pass breakups with seven.

2022 (Sophomore)

Fleming was named a team captain and played in seven of Alvernia’s ten games in 2022, tallying 39 total tackles which ranked eighth on Alvernia. Fleming recorded 20 solo tackles and 19 assisted tackles and 0.5 tackles for a loss. Fleming forced one fumble and tallied three pass breakups in his sophomore season. 

2021 (First Year) 

Fleming played in nine games for the Golden Wolves and led the team in total tackles with 84. Of his 84 tackles, Fleming tallied 46 solo tackles and 38 assisted tackles, both of which were team highs for Alvernia. Fleming recorded one tackle for a loss, tallied a team high three interceptions, recorded two pass breakups and forced one fumble.
