Ayers played in all ten games for the Golden Wolves during his sophomore campaign and recorded the best single season in program history as a kick returner. Ayers returned 38 kickoffs for a program record 872 return yards. Ayers averaged 22.95 yards per return and 87.2 return yards per game with a long return of 58 yards which came against Misericordia. Ayers posted six games of over 100 kick return yards and tallied a season best 159 kick return yards against Misericordia. Ayers also caught 29 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns in 2024 and his two touchdowns came in a season finale victory over Misericordia after Ayers caught the game winning touchdown pass from teammate JJ Gonzalez in overtime. Ayers ended his career as a Golden Wolf as the program leader in multiple kick return records. In 20 games, Ayers ranks first in kickoff returns with 79 and return yards with 1,569. Ayers also ended with 34 receptions for 518 yards and three touchdowns.

Ayers played in all ten games for Alvernia during his first year and caught 14 passes for 226 yards. Ayers scored one touchdown in 2023 which came on a 77 yard reception in a victory over crosstown rivals Albright and also tallied a season high five catches against Lebanon Valley. Ayers recorded 38 kickoff return opportunities and led the Golden Wolves with 697 total return yards, which also ranked second in the MAC. Ayers surpassed 100 return yards three times in 2023, against FDU-Florham, King’s and tallied a season high 166 against Widener. Ayers also recorded one rush for five yards, two tackles and two kickoffs for a total of 108 yards and one touchback.
