Alvernia Athlete of the Week after averaging a double-double (14 points and 12.5 rebounds) in a 1-1 week. Scored a career-high 31 points to lead Alvernia University (11-5, 6-3) to a 75-67 win over Arcadia University (6-10, 1-8) in the Commonwealth Conference men's basketball action at Alumni Gymnasium (Jan 22). Parker carried the Crusaders to a 2-0 week with an impressive week. He went 9-for-13 from the floor and 13-of-15 from the free throw line to score a career-high 31. He followed that going 12-for-15 from the floor scoring 24 in a home win over Lebanon Valley. He shot 75 percent from the floor on the week, averaged 28 points and 10 rebounds per game. Named Alvernia Athlete of the Week and the Conference Player of the Week (Jan. 27). Parker was good, scoring 19 points with 9 boards in a Wednesday win at Lycoming, helping the Crusaders get out to a 32-point lead midway through the second half. He cranked it up to great with 28 points and 10 boards in a much-needed home win over Stevenson, going 9-for-11 from the floor, hitting 10 free throws and handing out three assists. Named Alvernia Athlete of the week. He was also named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week (Feb. 3). Parker was strong in the post for the Crusaders this week, averaging 22.5 points and 13 rebounds per game. He shot 13-17 from the free throw line and shot 62 percent from the floor. He pounded the offensive glass at Widener pulling down seven offensive boards. Parker also surpassed 1,000 career points in the game at Widener on Saturday. Named Alvernia Athlete of the Week (Feb. 17). Parker averaged a double-double in two big wins for the Crusaders, who earned a home game in the conference semifinal. He was particularly effective in Saturday's win over Messiah, scoring 16 points to go with 14 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Named Alvernia Athlete of the Week (Feb. 24).
Named Commonwealth Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Feb. 24). Named Commonwealth Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference office on Friday. He was also named First Team All-Commonwealth (Feb. 27). Named Commonwealth Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week and earned the Commonwealth Conference Championship MVP (Mar. 3)...Named D3hoops.com All-Region First Team (Mar. 17)...Named NABC All-District First Team (Mar. 18)...finished career with 1,084 points, 17th on career scoring list.
2012-13: Named All-Commonwealth Honorable Mention.
2011-12: Named Alvernia's Male Athlete of the Week (11/28) after pulling down 18 rebounds and scoring 11 against Rowan (11/22) and leading the team with 15 points at NJCU (11/27). Posted 79 points and brought down 59 minutes throughout the season.
High School Awards: Named team captain his senior year, earned Second Team All-Delco and First Team All Del-Val, named the Delaware County All Star Game MVP and was an All-Star Labor Day Classic selection.
