Greg Clarke joined the Alvernia University Men's Basketball staff prior to the 2014-15 season as an assistant coach.
Coach Clarke brings with him 20 years of coaching experience, most recently seven years as the head coach at Reading Area Community College (2004-2011). He racked up 100-plus wins at RACC including the 2005-06 Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Association and Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association Championships led by former Crusaders David Washington III.
Clarke began his coaching career as a high school assistant at Crossland High School (1993-1994) in Temple Hills, Md., then spent a year at Oxon Hill High School in Oxon Hills, Md., and Calvin Coolidge High School in Washingon, D.C.
Clarke played in college at Marist College in the 1988-89 season and at the University of New Haven from 1991-1992. He was a 3-year varsity player at Crossland High School in Temple Hills, Md., where his teams were three-time State Finalists and 4A State Champions in 1986.
Clarke and his wife, Kimberly, have three daughters, Teressa, Giani, and Kymari.
