Slay played in 26 of Alvernia’s 29 games during his senior campaign and recorded starts in 20 of those games. Slay finished with a career high in minutes played with 694 and averaged just under 27 minutes per game. Slay also posted a career high in points scored with 231 and rebounds with 128. Slay shot 42.9% from the floor in 2023-2024 and 41% from beyond the arc with 23 made threes and 84 made field goals. Slay also tallied the second most steals on the Alvernia with 38, he dished out 50 assists and blocked eight shots. Slay scored a career high 19 points against Widener where he went 7-16 from the floor while knocking down three shots from downtown and added four steals and four assists. Slay scored ten or more points in 12 games, including a stretch where he scored ten or more in five straight games. Slay finished his career with 104 games played, 469 points, 275 rebounds, 163 assists, 88 steals, and 16 blocks between Alvernia and West Chester. As a Golden Wolf, Slay played in 55 games, scored 344 points with 26 made three pointers and 128 field goals made. Slay also recorded 187 rebounds, 83 assists, 51 steals and 11 blocked shots. Slay was also a member of the 2023 MAC Commonwealth runner-up and the 2023 and 2024 ECAC Championship runner-up.

Slay played in 29 games for the Golden Wolves during his first year with the team, finishing with 412 total minutes and averaged 14 per game. Slay scored 113 points including a season high ten in his collegiate debut against Neumann and scored ten once more in a win over York College. Slay made 44 field goals and went 22-27 from the free throw line for a percentage of 81.5%. Slay recorded 33 assists, added 13 steals and was a member of a team that finished runner-up in both the MAC Commonwealth Championship and the ECAC Championship.
