2024 (Junior)
Wendel competed in all six events for the Golden Wolves during the 2024 season and posted two career bests during the fall. Wendel posted a career best 5K time at the Baltimore Metro Meet with a time of 17:33.0 and also added a career best 8K time at the NCAA DIII Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships with a time of 26:59.9.
2023 (Sophomore)
Wendel ran in five meets for Alvernia during his sophomore season and posted a season best 8K time at the Don Cathcart Invitational with a time of 28:12.0. Wendel also recorded a season best 5K time at the Baltimore Metro Meet with a time of 18:05.0.

Wendel competed in six competitions during his first year and posted his career best 8k time at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional with a time of 28:57.8. Wendel competed at the MAC Championships, finishing with a time of 29:18.6 and recorded a 29:15.0 time at the Lock Haven XC Invitational. Wendel posted an 8k time of 29:59.0 at Sailsbury’s Don Cathcart Invitational and a time of 30:40.1 at the LVC Dutchmen XC Invite. Wendel recorded his career best 5k time at Goucher’s Baltimore Metro Meet with a time of 18:01.8.
