Hoovler played in all 11 events for Alvernia during his senior campaign and recorded a fourth place finish at the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Championships to earn First Team All-MAC Commonwealth honors for the second straight season. Hoovler played in 20 rounds and posted a 74.8 scoring average which led the Golden Wolves. Hoovler posted a season and career low round of 69 twice during the season and carded 69 at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic and also at the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Championships. Hoovler posted the best finish of the season at St. Joseph’s Long Island Invitational where he finished first and took home low medalist honors with a two day total of 144 (+2) after a second round score of 70. Hoovler also finished the season with seven top ten finishes, three top three finishes and a second first place finish at Alvernia’s Fall Invitational. Hoovler carded three eagles, a team leading 58 birdies and 194 pars on the season and also posted a singles victory in the Yocum Cup against Albright with a 4&2 victory over Jonathan Liljebald after winning holes 14,15,16 to close out the match. Hoovler ended his Alvernia career with 25 events played, 44 total rounds and a 76.9 scoring average and also carded five eagles, 104 birdies and 405 total pars. Hoovler finished in the top ten in 12 events, recorded three top three finishes, two first place finishes and one low medalist honor. Hoovler also is a two time First Team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree after fourth place finishes in both 2024 and 2025.

Hoovler played in all 11 events for the Golden Wolves during his junior year and recorded four top ten finishes including a T4 finish at the 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championships to earn First Team All-MAC Commonwealth honors. Hoovler fired all 18 of his rounds in the 80’s and tallied 12 sub 80 rounds. Hoovler recorded his season best round of 72 on four occasions with his most recent round of 72 on the second day of the MAC Commonwealth Championships. Hoovler finished with the most made pars on Alvernia with 162, recorded 38 birdies, two eagles and had a scoring average of 77.8. Hoovler also helped lead the Golden Wolves to a third place team finish at the 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championships.
2022-2023 (Sophomore)
Hoovler played in three events in his first year with the team after joining the Golden Wolves in the spring season. Hoovler tallied six total rounds, posted a scoring average of 81 and fired his low round of the season at the Alvernia Invitational at Ledgerock Golf Club when he fired a +2 74. Hoovler recorded 49 pars, eight birdies and tallied his best finish of the season at the MAC Preview at the P.B. Dye course where he finished tied for tenth.
